January 11 - Attended federal "All Candidates" debate in Fredericton; attended address given by federal Conservative leader Stephen Harper in Woodstock.
January 16 - Telephone conference with Sharon Farrell of Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission re follow-up on 2004 "Faculty Renewal and Retention" Conference.
January 18 - Lunch meeting with President and Prof. Thilo Joerger in Sackville, NB, to deliver engraved Prix Nicole Raymond Award.
February 1 - Dinner meeting in Fredericton with Prof. Bélanger and Prof. Vanderlinde.
February 13 - Lunch with Liberal House Leader K. Lamrock to discuss P.S.E. initiatives.
February 19 - Meeting in Moncton with N. Cunningham (Editorial page editor of Moncton Times-Transcript) to discuss publication of series of three articles on post-secondary
education.
February 24 - With President, attend national "Competing for Tomorrow: A Postsecondary Education and Skills Summit" organized by the Council of the Federation (i.e. the
Council of provincial Premiers) in Ottawa; arranged impromptu "get-to-know-you" gathering of New Brunswick delegates to permit Premier Lord and Minister of Post-secondary
Education and Training Jody Carr to address provincial participants; held discussions with Minister Carr on "5-in-5" initiative.
February 28 - Presentation on the importance of funding for post-secondary education to Liberal Caucus of MLA’s in Moncton.
March 7 - Lunch meeting with Prof. Ian Fraser (FAUST).
March 26 - Attend "People’s Forum" convened by Andy Scott, M.P. in Fredericton.
March 28 - Attend 2006-2007 Budget speech by Finance Minister at Legislative in Fredericton.
March 30 - Attend Opposition response to Budget speech at Legislative in Fredericton; attend 25th anniversary celebrations of AUNBT first collective agreement and reception
honoring retirement of Prof. Gerald M. Clarke (FNBFA/FAPPUNB past-president).
April 1 - Attend breakfast sponsored by Woodstock Liberal Association; met S. Graham in Woodstock.
April 3 - Attended announcement of $8.6 Million N.B. government donation to Mount Allison University; met Premier Lord and Post Secondary Education minister Jody Carr in Sackville.
April 10 - Attended MAFA Annual General Meeting, delivered bookmarks to university library and public library; attended subsequent reception to honour five Mount Allison faculty
members, in Sackville, NB.
April 12 - Dinner meeting with Profs. Bélanger, Fields, Fraser and Vanderlinde.

- July 5 - Lunch meeting with S. Mattar (AUNBT) to discuss FNBFA/FAPPUNB Vice-presidency, in Fredericton.

that awarding of Status of Women Essay Prize should be postponed until 2006 (only 2 entries received for 2005).
- July 19 - Lunch meeting with Norbert Cunningham (Times & Transcript) in Moncton; delivered promotional bookmarks
to U de M library and to Chapters bookstore.
- July 28 - Attended New Brunswick Liberal Association golf tournament; met with S. Graham, K. Lamrock, & M. Murphy
and other MLA’s in Rexton, N.B.
- August 3 - Lunch meeting with K. Lamrock, MLA in Fredericton.
- August 8 - With President and Treasurer, interviewed candidates for vacant position of Executive Assistant.
- August 24 - Meeting with Julian Walker (Executive Assistant to federal regional Minister Andy Scott) in Moncton.
- September 8 - Attended Liberal leader S. Graham’s annual Charity Golf Tournament in Pokemouche, NB; met with S. Graham
- September 13, 22 and 29 - Meetings with L. Baier (Archivist at UNB - Fredericton) to arrange transfer of Federation
archives to safekeeping at UNB Harriet Irving Library.
- September 18 and 19 - With President, attended Maritime Provinces Higher Education "stakeholders’s meeting" in Truro, NS.
- October 13 - Meeting with L. Baier (Archivist at UNB - Fredericton) to complete transfer of Federation archives to safekeeping
at UNB Harriet Irving Library.
- October 14 - Attended N.B. Liberal Association bi-annual Policy convention in Fredericton.
- October 19 - Delivered promotional bookmarks to various Coles bookstores; meeting with Ron Barry (Editorial page editor,
Telegraph-Journal) in Saint John.
- October 26 - With President, attended Premier’s Forum on Post-Secondary Education in Fredericton.
